Every time Disney Pixar releases a new movie, you can bet that someone has developed beds and bedding based on the characters in the new film. It is a huge additional revenue stream for those guys in Hollywood.

They want to be a big boy but when it comes to the middle of the night, they often get scared and end up snuggling into Mom and Dad’s bed. You probably do not need to put toddler rails on this type of bed as it is so close to the ground that your child falling out is nothing to worry about. You will need to check that the mattress you use fits the bed properly. Do not leave any gaps as young children can get caught in these and could suffocate. There have been cases of children dying or suffering brain damage due to lack of oxygen so please don’t take any risks especially as a suitable mattress is not expensive.
Also when you go shopping don’t forget vacation time. Your child cannot bring his cars toddler bed with him on holiday so you may want to purchase a cars ready bed or sleeping bag for use with an inflatable air bed. This way you should benefit from a restful night’s sleep on holiday as well as at home.
